SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Applied Materials, Inc. (Nasdaq:AMAT) will hold an investor/press briefing in Hamburg, Germany on Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. local time (10:00 a.m. EDT, 7:00 a.m. PDT).

The briefing will take place during the 24th EU Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and will be focused on Applied’s solar business.
